Our college basketball writer Scott Richey will tip off the month of May with his weekly chat on all things Illinois hoops. It could be a big month for the Illini. Kofi Cockburn is signed, but Brad Underwood and Co. are still waiting on Bernard Kouma (he has until May 15) and have another scholarship to fill since Antwan January is officially not coming. T.J. Holyfield anyone? Plus, future recruiting is back to being a primary focus this spring with a half dozen new offers in the last week. Who caught the Illini coaches eyes? Who might fill out the 2020 class?
