BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team claimed a 70-63 overtime victory over Eastern Michigan in a Mid-American Conference contest played at the Stroh Center today.
Springfield High School graduate Demajeo Wiggins finished with 17 points and 15 rebounds to lead five players who scored in double figures for the Falcons (15-10, 6-6 MAC). Anthony Wayne High School product Matt Fox and Dylan Frye each made four 3-pointers for 12 points, while Derek Koch and Justin Turner each had 10.
Elijah Minnie scored 17 points for Eastern Michigan (14-11, 5-7 MAC), while James Thompson had 10 points and 11 boards before fouling out for the Eagles.
